89 When Moses entered the tent of meeting(A) to speak with the Lord,(B) he heard the voice speaking to him from between the two cherubim above the atonement cover(C) on the ark of the covenant law.(D) In this way the Lord spoke to him.

At once the Lord said to Moses, Aaron and Miriam, “Come out to the tent of meeting, all three of you.” So the three of them went out. Then the Lord came down in a pillar of cloud;(A) he stood at the entrance to the tent and summoned Aaron and Miriam. When the two of them stepped forward, he said, “Listen to my words:

“When there is a prophet among you,
    I, the Lord, reveal(B) myself to them in visions,(C)
    I speak to them in dreams.(D)
But this is not true of my servant Moses;(E)
    he is faithful in all my house.(F)
With him I speak face to face,
    clearly and not in riddles;(G)
    he sees the form of the Lord.(H)
Why then were you not afraid
    to speak against my servant Moses?”(I)

The anger of the Lord burned against them,(J) and he left them.(K)

10 When the cloud lifted from above the tent,(L) Miriam’s skin was leprous[a]—it became as white as snow.(M) Aaron turned toward her and saw that she had a defiling skin disease,(N)
